Pennsylvania special-educator wins national CEC award

Teacher Cindy Mock uses muffin tins with tennis balls to help some Pennsylvania preschoolers with visual impairments learn the Braille alphabet. For her creativity, Mock was recently named the CEC Division on Visual Impairments' National Teacher of the Year. "Without her, the kids that have visual impairments wouldn't be where they are," said colleague Megan C. Marnien, who nominated Mock for the award.
