Common pitfalls of mobile commerce sites

A Baymard Institute survey of usability problems on 18 top mobile commerce sites found that home pages often have too many elements to be easily scannable. Users also grew frustrated when sites lost their data, such as address or credit card information, and became confused when an "add to cart" button was not immediately obvious on the page, the survey found. Small screens led to verification problems when users couldn't properly view inputted data.
