Consumers could punish companies for irresponsible acts

Nine out of 10 consumers say they're willing to boycott companies that engage in irresponsible business practices, according to a Cone Communications report. That's potentially bad news for brands and retailers whose foreign suppliers are caught up in high-profile scandals such as the recent Bangladeshi factory collapse.
