Expensive room service is a thing of the past at many hotels

Hotels are rethinking the way they provide room service. While they have been able to raise room rates, many guests are not willing to splurge on room service, so hotels are simplifying the presentation or prices. "We have seen hotel owners and operators react to this trend by reducing the levels of food and beverage service at their properties," said Mark Woodworth, president of PKF Hospitality Research.
