How much of a debate is there about climate change?

The degree of uncertainty surrounding climate change depends on whom you ask. About 43% of Americans say scientists are undecided about climate change, according to a Pew study, but just 1.1% of climatologists and experts in related fields are unconvinced of the theory of anthropogenic climate change. "Our findings prove that there is a strong scientific agreement about the cause of climate change, despite public perceptions to the contrary," says lead author John Cook.
