Is it time to create an exit strategy?

Startup founders and investors rarely take the time to develop a proper exit plan, but this is a mistake, according to Geoff Lewis, principal at Founders Fund. Speaking earlier this week in New York, Lewis said it is time to start planning if your old business model isn't working or if there are issues with your company that only you can see. In general, it's best to allow about six months to figure out how to exit your company, Lewis said.
