Kohl's taps high-level Starbucks executive for new post

Michelle Gass, who was considered one of the top candidates to replace retiring Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, resigned from her position with the coffee giant to take the newly created post of chief customer officer at Kohl's. Gass, who is credited with expanding the Seattle's Best brand before leading Starbucks' turnaround in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will be in charge of marketing, e-commerce and "the customer's total omnichannel experience" at Kohl's.
