Okla. officials estimate tornado's damage at $2B or more

Property damage from the tornado that hit Moore, Okla., on Monday is estimated at $2 billion, according to the state Insurance Department. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said the federal government will continue helping affected communities with cleanup. Moore Mayor Glenn Lewis said he will seek an ordinance that would mandate storm shelters or safe rooms be included in new housing projects. The tornado affected between 12,000 and 13,000 homes, said Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett.
