Pilatus takes on personal jet competition

Swiss military aircraft builder Pilatus is going up against Embraer and Textron as it ramps up its personal jet business with a new offering targeted for 2017. Its PC-24 jet is meant to be a bigger, faster plane than its PC-12 turbopropeller sold for personal use, and it will be able to take off from grass strips, the company says.
