Brands look to smoothies to boost drink sales

Executives at several major brands are hoping to boost beverage sales by 5% to 15% this summer by marketing new smoothie flavors. Dunkin' Donuts added the Tropical Fruit Smoothie to its menu in April, and Jamba Juice is seeing success with its new Pomegranate Paradise All Fruit Smoothie.
