Chicago teachers not afraid to strike, union president says

The president of the Chicago Teachers Union said the city's 32,000 educators weren't afraid to strike if "serious and intensive" talks didn't begin soon on their contract expiring June 30. The union is seeking pay raises, affordable health care and enhanced job security; school administrators say they were eager to get to work.
