Maine lawmakers may consider rehabilitation tax credit

The Maine Legislature's Taxation Committee was due to consider a proposal to offer tax credits for the rehabilitation of old mill and factory buildings. The legislation would give developers a 25% tax credit for investments made to bring buildings up to code, but some members of the Legislature say the issue may have to wait because the session is nearing its end.
