Medistem teams up with Orcrist to research stem cell therapies

Medistem Laboratories says its endometrial regenerative cell is a menstrual-blood-derived universal donor stem cell that can differentiate into nine types of tissue. Technology from Orcrist helps stem cells leave bone marrow and enter the blood so they can be harvested. The two firms have teamed up to develop new therapies.
