Merchants add online offerings to in-store experience

Some brick-and-mortar retail stores are finding ways to use online shopping to expand in-store sales as consumers grow increasingly comfortable shopping online. Kohl's has added online kiosks to some stores and plans to roll them out to all locations, while J.C. Penney will add online kiosks on a smaller scale. The kiosks allow shoppers to order out-of-stock items and let retailers virtually expand their selling floor.
