Sari Crevin always knew she wanted to be her own boss, but her first venture was only a "moderate success," so she took a full-time job while plotting her next move. In 2005, she created the SippiGrip to keep her 1-year-old son from throwing his cup on the floor. Even with her full-time job, Crevin managed to attend trade shows, master international distribution, expand her product line -- and approach $1 million in annual sales.
