$13M helicopter site to open in downtown Chicago

Real estate investor Stephen Quazzo is financing a $13 million helicopter takeoff and landing site for downtown Chicago. The 10-acre site will feature a "vertiport" that will also allow other vertical takeoff aircraft to use the facility. "There's been absolutely nowhere to land helicopters within the city unless you're the president," Quazzo said. "What struck us was the strength and depth of the demand."
