Are you stuck with your domain name?

Many small-business owners are dissatisfied with the domain names they have chosen, and more than half say they would pick a new name if given the right opportunity, according to a survey by Wakefield Research. However, there are options, according to Mike Jackness, founder of Terran Marketing, even though he acknowledges the pre-eminence of a dot-com extension. "The right web address, built on a global, credible domain extension, can make it easy for people to find, remember and refer you customers -- and to drive your business forward," says Lori Anne Wardi, co-founder and vice president at .CO Internet.
