Camp helps make math fun, students say

Staff at California State University in Stanislaus are working to help extend learning beyond the regular school day. Students recently had an opportunity to attend a spring math camp, where math coaches used activities like hot potato to teach multiplication. "We play math; we don't 'do' math," professor Viji Sundar said.
