Jennifer Lopez-backed brand, Verizon to open Hispanic cellphone stores

Jennifer Lopez, through the Viva Movil brand, is starting a chain of 15 authorized Verizon cellphone stores and an associated website aimed at the Hispanic market. New York, Los Angeles and Miami are among the initial locations, which will feature a bilingual sales staff and a "culturally relevant shopping experience," according to Viva Movil. Lopez is the majority owner and chief creative officer for the brand.
