Kan. district expands push for blended learning

Angelique Kobler, incoming assistant superintendent in the Lawrence School District in Kansas, envisions a time when most schools in the district follow a blended-learning model. The district will take steps toward that vision in the fall when it adds 40 additional classrooms to its blended-learning initiative, in which students have the option of learning in traditional classrooms, independently or in small groups.
