La Boulange founder beefs up Starbucks' bakery case

Starbucks aims to boost food sales, which currently account for about 19% of revenue, with new baked goods and lunch offerings from La Boulange, the San Francisco-based cafe and bakery chain it bought for $100 million last year. La Boulange founder Pascal Rigo stayed with the company after the sale and is now heading a five-year plan to transform Starbucks' pastry case.
