Sears Canada may be turning a corner, analyst says

Sears Canada reported a first-quarter same-store sales dip of 2.6%, lower than one analyst's forecast of 3%, spurring talk that the retailer may be starting to see success with its turnaround efforts. The real test will come over the next four quarters, as rival Target opens the bulk of its new Canada stores, said retail analyst Keith Howlett.
