South Korean economy is forecast to pick up pace in 2014

A forecast pickup in exports and domestic demand should boost South Korean GDP growth to 3.6% in 2014, the Korea Development Institute predicts. That would be up from 2.6% projected growth this year. Private consumption in particular is forecast to grow as the Korean won continues to rise against the yen.
