Whole Foods aims to open at least 40 Canada stores

Whole Foods' expansion plans include opening 40 or more new stores in Canada in the coming years, co-CEO John Mackey said at a conference Wednesday. The Austin, Texas-based natural and organic grocer operates nine stores in British Columbia and Ontario, and is now shopping for a location for its first store in Montreal, he said.
