Web site connects caregivers with patients at home

After dealing with his own frustration in finding a qualified in-home caregiver, a Georgia man with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis constructed a Web service that connects health professionals with patients in need of care in the home setting. The Web site was inspired by a popular dating site, and has patients create profiles to describe their needs, and another section features caregivers' qualifications.
