LCD TVs tout cheaper, brighter performance

LCD TVs continue to wrestle market share away from their plasma counterparts, largely because of increased efficiencies in factory production, which make the screens cheaper to produce. Analysts predict that LCDs will outsell plasmas in the 40-to-44-inch range worldwide beginning in 2008.
