Coast Guard commandant: Feds can't cut BP from oil-spill efforts

Coast Guard Commandant Thad Allen opposed an idea to end BP's participation in efforts to contain the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, saying the government lacks the expertise and equipment to take over. "To push BP out of the way would raise a question: To replace them with what?" said Allen, who is leading the federal response to the incident.
