Developer sought for 500-room convention center hotel in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's Sports and Exhibition Authority is issuing a request for proposals for developers to build a 500-room hotel for the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. The center became the first convention center to achieve a LEED gold rating and the largest green building in the world when it was built in 2003, and the new convention center hotel will be required to be built to LEED standards.
