Facebook CEO: Mistakes were made, but fixes are coming

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg mounts a defense of his company in this article, admitting that Facebook has made mistakes and pledging to create simpler ways for users to control access to their personal information. In a separate e-mail exchange, Zuckerberg said he'd be ready to reveal at least some of Facebook's privacy fixes this week. "I know we've made a bunch of mistakes, but my hope at the end of this is that the service ends up in a better place," he writes.
