Indian state sees increase in hemophiliacs infected with HIV

India's Gujarat state is seeing an increase in hemophiliac patients who contract HIV through needed blood transfusions. An expert said being treated with anti-hemophilic factor, an alternative to blood transfusion, is very expensive and cannot be afforded by 90% of the patients.
