Radio sales rose 6% in Q1

Radio ads in the first quarter were up 6% to $3.4 billion, the RAB has announced. National spot increased 19% to $568 million and network grew 6% to $260 million, while local ads rose 2% to $2.5 billion. Digital, including online and HD channels, showed promise, increasing 18% to $123 million.
