Study: Home monitoring helps patients manage hypertension

A new study indicated that the use of in-home blood pressure monitors and online reporting solutions helped patients lower their blood pressure levels. "While more research is necessary, our study suggests that using technology to engage individuals in their care at home may be a better way to help patients achieve a healthy blood pressure," the study's lead author said.
