Teachers get time off for writing college recommendation letters

Teachers in Minnesota's Edina school district will receive up to two paid days off in the next school year in exchange for writing college recommendation letters for students. Under a new contract, the amount of time off will depend on how many recommendation letters a teacher writes. Some teachers say they can write as many as 60 recommendation letters in one school year.
