Video slots will probably not be legalized in New Hampshire this year. The proposal is not on a list of budget topics to be hashed out between New Hampshire House Speaker Terie Norelli and state Senate President Sylvia Larsen. Meanwhile, the state Gaming Study commission reports that adding slot machines and full-scale casinos would produce more revenue and jobs. The state stands to lose $68.5 million if Massachusetts approves its gambling plan and New Hampshire does not, according to the commission.
