Among blacks, vitamin D deficiency is more common in MS patients

A study in the journal Neurology found that 77% of 339 blacks with multiple sclerosis also had vitamin D deficiency compared with 71% of 342 blacks without MS. Researchers said vitamin D levels did not affect the severity of the condition.
