Distilling returns to Pittsburgh

When Wigle Whiskey opens this summer, it will be the first distillery operating in Pittsburgh's city limits in nearly a century. "This is an opportunity to restore this Pennsylvania industry that has been dormant for a long time," said Eric Meyer, who is opening the distillery with family members and named it for Philip Wigle, who was convicted in the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion.
