Eagle Ford Shale spurs job growth in Texas

Development projects in the Eagle Ford Shale have been generating employment in Texas, including about 6,800 full-time jobs last year, according to a report by the University of Texas at San Antonio's Center for Community and Business Research. About 5,000 new Eagle Ford wells are projected by 2020, leading to nearly 68,000 full-time jobs and $1.2 billion in state revenue, the study added.
