Rising waters led to dropping revenues at Mississippi casinos

Rising waters cost Mississippi casinos close to $5 million in lost revenues for April. The Mississippi Department of Revenue reported that winnings at all coast casinos sank to $87.4 million from $92.5 million the previous April. However, the 11 coast casinos are staying slightly ahead of revenue for the first four months of the year.
