Subsidy program seeks to improve British Columbia's health

Smokers and obese and sedentary residents of British Columbia will be given subsidies for gym memberships, physical activity and nutrition programs as part of the Healthy Families BC project. The health program is designed to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, including diabetes and heart disease, in the region.
