TSA workers start voting in second union election

The Federal Labor Relations Authority this week began sending election information to Transportation Security Administration workers who will choose between two unions to represent them. This second election is necessary because neither of the unions vying to represent the employees won a majority in the April 20 election. Workers will have until June 21 to select between the American Federation of Government Employees and the National Treasury Employees Union.
