Verizon to expand LTE to 21 more markets

Verizon Wireless will introduce its Long-Term Evolution service to an additional 21 markets by the end of June, bringing the 4G network to a total of 76 markets, the carrier said Monday. Also, Verizon Chief Technology Officer Fran Shammo recently hinted that the carrier would introduce data pooling to its family plans. "[Y]ou are going to have mega-plans [for data], and people are going to share that mega-plan based on the number of devices within their family," he said.
