Young adults with special needs learn independent-living skills

A program offered through a Denver-area school district helps young adults with special needs acquire valuable independent-living skills. The Bridge Program has students following local current events, and how to interview effectively for jobs or cook safely in the kitchen. "All things that I think many of us do take for granted, we teach in this program," teacher Cathi Allen said.
