Branded pages are most popular among social media marketers

Nearly three-quarters of advertisers who spent at least $100,000 on social media advertisements in the first quarter used branded pages on social networks to get messages out, while just over half bought ads on a social network, according to a survey from Forrester Consulting. The survey also found that just half of advertisers used demographic targeting to reach prospective customers.
