Businesses comment on proposed wellness programs regulation

Businesses are offering feedback to the Obama administration about a proposed wellness program rule in the Affordable Care Act. WellPoint's Samuel Marchio, who met with White House officials, said increasing wellness efforts is a good way "to bend the cost curve." National Business Group on Health President Helen Darling said some provisions in the rules could "impede innovation and increase administrative and cost burdens for wellness programs, with little to no benefit to participants."
