Delta unveils T4 at NYC's JFK Airport

Delta Air Lines opened its $1.4 billion Terminal 4 at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday. "T4 is a major step forward for Delta. We will have 18 international wide-bodied gates and as the largest international carrier at JFK this is a watershed event for Delta," said Delta CEO Richard Anderson. The expansion includes the addition of nine gates, an overhaul of seven gates and a new SkyClub with a deck that overlooks the airport. Anderson added that Phase 2 would include additional gates.
