How is mobile technology changing education?

Mobile is becoming a "core piece" in the classroom and is influencing widespread basic change in education, the founder and former head of online education site Blackboard told attendees of the CTIA 2013 conference Thursday. "You'll be able to elevate an entire class of people that today are prohibited from pursuing their educational interests and objectives because of cost or location and you've totally removed those barriers," said Michael Chasen, who pointed to four trends that are sweeping mobile into educational prominence.
