Internet outage problematic for Va. district's online exams

About half of Fairfax County, Va., schools on Thursday experienced "significant problems" while administering standardized tests online -- causing some schools to cancel testing and schedule make-up exams. This was the first year students in Virginia have taken standardized tests by logging onto a website. Officials say the glitches were related to an outage with the school system's Internet provider.
