Obama announces policy change for UAV strikes

President Barack Obama announced a change in policy for using unmanned aerial vehicles in the war on terror. The military, not the Central Intelligence Agency, will now be in charge of most UAV strikes targeting terrorists. "We must define our effort not as a boundless 'global war on terror' but rather as a series of persistent, targeted efforts to dismantle specific networks of violent extremists that threaten America," Obama said.
