Wendy's International Inc. may be seeing signs of brighter days ahead after posting its first monthly year-over-year same-store sales gain in 14 months. The chain is attempting to foster growth by focusing on its brand and developing new products while still paying attention to its core offerings. The April launch of its Frescata sandwiches helped its results.
