While CBS is still the leader in total viewers and Fox nabbed the biggest share of the coveted 18- to 49-year-old demographic, ratings data also showed major shifts in the way TV is watched, with live viewership declining by 10% over last season for the big four networks. While many viewers are time-shifting programming on DVRs, researchers also believe that the early daylight-saving time and relatively few new winter and spring shows were contributing factors.
